Storm and Charlie were a delight to work with. They added a 13.5 kWh battery to our existing PV system. They spent time talking through different options and the optimal positioning and fitting of the battery. The fitting team were great and equally thoughtful about the best way to fit the system in our old, non-uniform house!

We are extremely happy and satisfied with our solar panels provided and installed by Glo Renewable! From start to finish, the service we received was exceptional. The team was always available at the end of the phone to answer any questions, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble.

The workmanship was top-notch, and the entire installation process was smooth and completed quickly. We were especially impressed by how efficiently everything was handled—no delays, no hassles.

I can’t recommend Glo Renewables highly enough. I had already received quotes from other companies but Glo Renewables beat them all hands down and their service is second to none. I’m so grateful the company was recommended to me by my friends.

The solar panels and battery installation is excellent and the team went above and beyond the call of duty and nothing was too much trouble for them. They were exceptionally careful in my home, very tidy work and cleared up after themselves, all to a very high standard, and were so hard-working, very professional and so polite - a real credit to the company. I could not believe how they’d managed to hide the wiring out of sight. You’d really struggle to find another company able to compete on this level. I was kept in the loop at all times, with everything being explained to me as they went along.

Storm was brilliant and so knowledgable and committed, coming out to see me several times before, during and after installation to check I was happy with everything and customer service is even on-going after installation. How many companies offer this?

Glow were brilliant installing our battery back up system. Other companies we were looking at were looking to install a generic system (which would have been just as expensive and with a lower capacity), but our property and requirements meant that we needed something a little more tailored, which Charlie took time to get right for us. The work done was of good quality and they left the place tidy afterwards. The people doing the work were always polite. The aftercare has been excellent and responsive, with any questions we have answered swiftly. I would use them again and recommend them to others.

More than helpful.
I was having problems with the Solis inverter installed by others some 5 years old and out of extended warranty. Solis inverter customer service have Glo as service technicians.
Storm at Glo Renewables is so helpful and our communication by email provided me with the resources to look further into the issue. His advice and knowledge soon resolved the problem and I’m very grateful for his help and advice. I have to give Glo the highest recommendation as this level of service is more than five star.

Brilliant service. I had a plumber let me down, so I phoned storm and the team at Glo Renewables and they agreed to take the job on for me which I really appreciated. Their communication was excellent throughout and everything they said they were going to do they did with no fuss and to a great standard. We chose to use them as Storm impressed us with his enthusiasm and knowledge, giving us much more information in a way that we could understand compared to other companies who gave similar quotes. From our initial enquiry to completion of the installation we have been impressed with their professionalism, and attention to detail. We have recently had an array of 10 panels and battery fitted by Glo Renewables. The whole process was dealt with smoothly. They worked with the roofers to co-ordinate the various stages of the installation. Any disruption was kept to a minimum and the work couldn't have been tidier. We're very happy to be generating at least some of our own electricity . Thanks to Storm and the team.

I have been looking for a local company to install solar panels for a very long time. Glo renewables were recommended to us and so glad they were. Professional , helpful , knowledgeable and excellent customer service and workmanship . All really nice guys and even after panels installed Storm still checks in to make sure all ok. We recently used Storm and his team for a 15KW commercial installation. I was pleased with their friendly customer service throughout the process. The installation was punctual and the workmanship was to a high standard. The site was left clean and tidy.
The after sales service was excellent, I was struggling to find a solar contract that paid well and Glo took the time to find me a good commercial deal, which paid much better than the ones I had found myself.
Storm took time to explain the workings of the meters etc after installation and I am sure that if I have any queries going forward, he would be happy to help.
I am very pleased that I chose to go with Glo; they are very professional yet approachable and I would highly recommend.

I approached three companies for quotes for a solar and battery installation. Of the three Glo Renewables were the only ones to offer me different options to choose from. They talked me through the pros and cons of each one and what would be involved in each case.  I was very impressed with their knowledge and the way they were able to put it across so that I could understand it.

Once we had agreed a contract they started the paperwork process on my behalf.  The installation itself which happened a couple of weeks later was very professional and the attention to detail beyond belief.

After the system was commissioned they filled out the rest of the paperwork on my behalf and guided me through using the GivEnergy app and website to manage the system.

Charlie, Storm, Len and George are a truly professional team who I would recommend to anyone.

I'm no newcomer to the solar market, but having moved to Paignton with a South facing roof, it was a no brainer ! I obtained 3 quotes, however local service is key, professionalism too, GLO offers both in abundance. There is a downside to buying cheap, from national suppliers, don't make that mistake .

Putting that basic issue to one side, we have a battery backup system with our 16 panels, providing full electric supply to our property and we get £100-120 per month back for export excess power, that offsets our forthcoming gas bills for the winter.

We are self sufficient now, irrespective of price rises on energy - a sensible investment for the future, assisted by GLO and installed in a clean professional manner.
I don't normally send reviews, but to be fair, they deserve it ....

Charlie, Dan, Storm & George have fitted our in-roof solar panels whilst we were having a complete re roof. Extremely pleased with the system that Glo Renewables installed. The installation process was painless and the crew a delight to work with. Once commissioned the result has been astonishing with the storage battery 100% charged by 12 noon every day (OK, it's July and permanently sunny at the moment). We are exporting the lion's share of generation and now need to do something about variable tariffs to maximise the benefits. Glo have committed to helping me with this. So far we have generated 100% of our household needs and imported - nothing. I am starting this review with the fact that I would have no hesitation in recommending Glo Renewables. I already have solar panels and didn't know whether to add a battery or not. I was given very helpful information. There was no pressure in making a decision, and they didn't mind my questions. They helped me chose a battery that fitted my needs. The site was visited so that a suitable position for the battery that suited me was found. The installation is very neat and tidy. I have been visited to help me understand some of the technical side in relation to the app. and tariffs available with my energy supplier. They offer on going support. Glo Renewables to me appear a very happy, enthusiastic Team who care about what you want and how they and their work comes across.

I've had a great experience with Storm and Charlie from the outset. In our initial discussions, Storm showed great enthusiasm and a deep knowledge of and passion for his field, which was the factor that decided me in favour of Glo over similarly-priced competitors. Subsequent meetings strengthened this feeling, and the whole process went quickly and smoothly. Several times Storm went out of his way (and out of pocket) on his own initiative to ensure the system worked as well as possible, and when I noticed the output was lower than predicted after a few days, Storm didn't hesitate to look for possible reasons and solutions. A few years ago I had a similar situation with a PV system consistently underperforming over several weeks after install, and the installer grumpily told me to wait at least a year before coming to any conclusions. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Glo to anyone who's thinking of installing or upgrading PV, home storage or EV charging.

Decided to add Battery Storage to our existing Solar PV System. Approached several companies for help and advice. Glo Renewables stood out from Day 1 with their friendly, helpful approach and knowledge. Had lower quotes from elsewhere though decided to go with Storm, Charlie and the Team at Glo because of the way they helped and advised over the phone and in person.
Installation Day went without a hitch and the area in our garage was tidier, cleaner after the install than before. Battery System in operation for a week now and gaining more understanding of how it all works daily with ongoing support from Storm & Charlie by phone. Nothing is too much for them.
I have no hesitation in highly recommending Glo Renewables, Totnes, Devon.

In October, Glo Renewables took over TRESOC’s maintenance contract. They quickly identified and fixed problems that have plagued one of our large systems for years, and it is now running better than ever. Storm and Charlie are both fully qualified electricians, which is why I think they are so good. They have gone above and beyond what has been required of them in our dealings with them so far, and have demonstrated great interpersonal skills. Out of the several solar companies I approached for quotes, these guys were the only ones who really looked at my requirements and came up with a system to fully meet my needs. Being electric only with high usage and huge bills, even with an existing solar system, the design was not going to be simple.

Good communication throughout the design & install and great after-sales service & support. They may not have been the cheapest quote, but they were the only company to deliver a package that perfectly matched my needs.

Very happy with my system, three months since install now, and have saved well over £1000 in electricity bills over the last 3 months compared to the same period in 2022.

Would totally recommend Glo Renewables.

The installer was helpful and supportive before, during and after the installation. Each member of staff involved with the project was equally helpful. All questions by e-mail was answered swiftly and courteously. They dealt with the National Grid on my behalf and supplied documents quickly as the National grid process would allow. When any problem or issue was raised by phone or e-mail their response was supportive and this gave us a confident assurance that we were dealing with installers of a high calibre. The installation was achieved in just over a day and all connections were as we wished and to a highly professional standard as confirmed by a builder and electrician friend.

I recently had the pleasure of having solar panels installed on my home, and I cannot express enough how delighted I am with the entire experience.

What really blew me away was the attention to detail from the team. The whole system looks fantastic, and it's clear they care about both quality and sustainability.

Glo fitted a 6Kw array, inverter and a 9.5Kw battery. We are WSW facing and the performance of the system has been superb.

We live in a Victorian property with a fragile slate tile roof and were keen to work with a smaller more agile firm that could adapt their approach during the works if needed. We believed a large commercial firm would be less likely to give the job the attention it required.

We benchmarked the quote from Glo with local and national fitters and found it to be competitive. The professionalism and customer centricity of Glo really stood them apart.

The team at Glo have a great relationship with their scaffolders who in turn were very considerate when installing to avoid damaging our ancient Wisteria! Plant pots were carefully moved, benches relocated and the whole site left tidy.

The quality of the work from the Glo team was excellent with close attention to detail, taking extra time to make an incredibly neat and compact install, repairing tiles where possible, replacing where necessary. The supply cable was expertly hidden behind drain pipes etc to be essentially invisible. The inverter and battery install was well thought out for future servicing. Very impressive.

The post install support has been proactive and Glo have patiently supported me through the process of seeking approval for SEG payments.

Overall I would highly recommend Glo for similar projects.

After having Glo install our solar panels, I'm very happy to highly recommend them. I found them to be very hard-working, punctual, pleasant and very knowledgeable about all aspects of the installation. Their attention to detail, such as adding a fire-board behind the battery, and using non-melting clips to keep power cables in place, was very impressive.
It was a pleasure to have them around for a few days and I'm delighted with the end result. It feels like we are definitely in safe hands!
