Powering better care with renewable energy
A smart energy solution designed for care homes and nursing facilities. Cut running costs, reduce emissions, and create healthier, more comfortable environments for your residents.
Care homes are among the UK’s highest energy consumers – and most exposed to rising energy costs. Solar energy offers a reliable, low-disruption way to future-proof your care facility, slash costs, and meet growing sustainability standards.
Whether you’re running a small nursing home or a large assisted living complex, Glo Renewables designs and installs systems tailored to your energy demands.
We don’t just focus on the numbers. Our systems help care providers create better everyday environments for residents and staff alike:
Stable indoor temperatures – Critical for elderly health and comfort
Battery backup options – Ensure heating and medical systems stay on during power cuts
Quiet operation – No loud generators disrupting rest or recovery
Cleaner air – Lower emissions mean better respiratory health indoors and out
Solar isn’t just practical – it’s a powerful signal. In a competitive care market, your green credentials can help you stand out.
By 2030, all care homes must reach EPC Grade B. Solar is one of the fastest, most cost-effective ways to get there.
Plus, with energy prices volatile and new residents expecting eco-conscious care, solar makes sense now more than ever.
Our solar solutions for care homes can include:
Battery Storage – Store and use energy overnight or during blackouts
Air Source Heat Pumps – Replace ageing gas systems with clean, efficient heating
Full Energy Audits & EPC Support – We help you meet and exceed regulatory standards
